    Description

    Custom High Power Fiber End Cap For QBH

    Laseri can offer UV fused silica end caps in sizes ranging from Ø1 mm to Ø8 mm.

    The end cap with a cap diameter of 5 mm or 8 mm has a guide rod or lead cone at one end for easy splicing to the optical fiber.

    The opposite side of the lead cone is coated with a 1064 nm antireflection coating to reduce back reflection.

    Other sizes can be customized  such as one end ball head, uncoated and other sizes.

    Shape The lead cone is convenient for splicing the optical fiber on the end cap ≥Ø5mm
    Coating A version with a 1064 nm VAR coating surface is available to reduce back reflections at the air-glass interface
    Clear aperture Clear aperture of each end face>80%
    Parallelism Parallelism of end face≤5 arcsec
    Principle Protect the fiber end face by reducing the energy density of the air and glass interface
    Application Ideal for high-power fiber lasers and amplifiers, biomedical imaging and protection of photonic crystal fibers
